• The plumbers' plumbing shop

  Having found gallons of water gushing out of a broken garden tap at 2.00pm on Christmas eve I wasn't hopeful of getting it mended before new year and after doing the rounds of the DIY chain stores (all of which closed at 4.00pm) the remaining hope was diminishing fast. Fortunately New City was open until 6.00pm and whereas staff in all the chain stores had prevaricated and wasted my time for 20 mins before admitting they hadn't got a clue, the guys at New City just casually picked up the broken tap and dug out a replacement in about 30 seconds - brilliant. will use these guys every time in future - and I didn't find them expensive either.

  These guys know what their on about and are NOT expensive........maybe the other reviewers like paying DIY shed prices for total rubbish! Great quality products at affordable prices. Never let me down yet after 20 in the trade.

  Been using the plumbing parts side for years and best in MK. The shop is terribly expensive.
