About Us

Delicious and Authentic Thai Cusine served in a relaxed and comfortable environment.


Open 7 days a week for dinner, and 5 days for lunch (closed Sunday & Monday lunchtimes). We have an extensive Vegetarian menu, including set menus starting from £15 per person.




Our collectors card gives regular customers the chance to save money and get a starter and a meal for free after purchasing five and ten meals respectively.




Eat alone and it will take a while, bring your friends or family and you'll be enjoying the benefits almost immediately.




Take away service is available throughout opening times, at a 10% discount.




Deliveries now available on Friday & Saturdays within Bedford area. Minimum Order £15.

Orchid Bay Collectors Card Regular customers can take advantage of the Orchid Bay Collectors Card. The scheme is simple, each time you order a main course you receive a stamp. After collecting five stamps you can collect a free starter and after ten you receive a free main course. Ask our staff about the collectors card when you visit the restaurant.

  • 10 A refreshing change

    As many people have visited Thailand and experienced the cuisine in it's home territory, the benchmark and expectations have both raised. Sadly, a lot of Thai restaurants in the UK never actually live up these expectations. Happily, the Orchid Bay meets them and even goes a little further. The service was very friendly and whilst quick, not overbearing. The menu was more extensive than most, with the lamb Kaeng Massaman Kea highly recommended for the rich, nutty sauce. Well priced at £35 for two (without alcohol) - I recommend more people visit to share the experience and ensure that Orchid Bay becomes established.
