• A completely biased review

  This is where I work and I noticed it hasn't been reviewed yet. I've got to say I rate it very highly (but then I would!) and find myself eating there even when I'm not working. We love seafood and change our fish menu weekly but the other nice things to eat menu, changed seasonally, is just as good... Look out for the four hour roasted lamb shoulder on the spring menu, its one of my favorites. The bar is cosy, with a roaring log fire in the colder months, and the bar food menu is fantastic value including a fresh soup of the day (always veggie) and possibly the best fish and chips I've ever tasted. The conservatory restaurant serves a TDH and a la carte menu every evening and most lunchtimes (Saturday lunch we just serve bar food and Sunday lunch we do a 3 course erm... Sunday Lunch menu for £16.95) The best value has to be the TDH lunch menu at £12.95 for 2 courses and coffee. I'm sure I've missed loads of great things about the place I work, but really this review is to get us listed and hopefully get some feedback for other (less biased) people.Hope to see you there :)
