• Unbelievably Rude!

  I got some new tyres from Pitstop before Xmas, and was really impressed by how friendly and helpful the staff were, I was advised to bring my car back in a couple of weeks to have wheel nuts tightened up. I took my car back this morning and had planned to book it in for a service with them. However a different man dealt with me, he repeated several times that he'd worked there 16 years and had never heard such a stupid thing. He acted as if I was some blithering idiot who randomly drives around garages asking for my nuts tightening! He had the blatant cheek and rudeness to shout 'Goodbye, go away now, have a nice life'! As I drove away. Needless to say I didn't book the service and won't be returning or recommending them.

  Well I don't know the first thing about cars so when i moved to Bedford last year and my car went horribly wrong (it's 10 years old) I took my BMW to 2 garages so I could compare. I'm so glad I did. Dave they guy that runs Pit Stop was really helpful and explained properly what was wrong with my car. The garage before fed me with a load of technological jargon and charged £200 more than Pit Stop! A tip for any females that are unsure of where to go, If the garage is a mamber of the good garage scheme, you have no worries. A garage has to fit a certain criteria to be a member and they are spot checked all the time. Thanks Dave, I will be coming back to you for my MOT and service.
