About Us

The Company director and Danconnect artist, Claire-Louise has a degree in Dance and Related Arts, has qualified teacher status, is an AQA examiner for Performing Arts: Dance and is CRB checked. We have access to other professional freelance dance artists in education to provide a wide range of workshops and residencies for schools, so whatever your requirements, we will almost always be able to help. Danceconnect also provides help with: Planning and delivering dance lessons and schemes of work, Designing a dance curriculum for your school Staff training and INSET days from Foundation Stage – A’level.

We work to provide quality dance experiences for schools. Workshops in schools are for pupils from the Foundation Stage to A’ Level, including those with special needs and are fully inclusive. Danceconnect can tailor make dance workshops to your school’s needs. We offer a range of workshops & residencies and are open for discussion on any idea or requirement. Sessions can take any form you choose, from a 1 hour session to a full day. Each workshop includes a dance warm-up, followed by the creative sessions. There is usually a performance outcome to which an audience of parents/pupils & staff can be invited by the school.
