  I have been a customer for 5 years. There is a very friendly atmosphere in the salon and the staff are VERY professional. Icing on the cake is that all treatments are reasonably priced. I would recommend that you 'give it a go'

• Brilliant haircut

  I have been to Elaine's for a haircut 4 times now - she really understands thick unruly hair and the haircuts always look fab. Lovely, friendly atmosphere, excellent advice and spotlessly clean salon. Elaine always fits me in last minute even if it means she has to stay late - lovely lady!

• Fantastic Treatment

  What a wonderful hair salon!!! Elaine fitted me in at short notice and my treatment was excellent. My hair looked beautiful when she'd finished, the colour and cut were faultless. But the experience wasn't only about the hair. the salon was well run by experienced, friendly and helpful staff. The rates are incredibly good value and I definately will be returning. Felt very well looked after and spoilt. Thank you!!!

  The last cut I got from somewhere else was disastrous, so I was wary of trying somewhere new, especially as I have naturally curly, fine hair and need someone who knows how to cut curly hair sympathetically. No such worries with Elaine's, however. Elaine herself fit me in last night, and I can thoroughly recommend her. Great cut that still looked good this morning having slept on it, no nonsense advice and a very down to earth attitude. Prices are more than reasonable, although they don't accept plastic. However, this very minor point does not in any way detract from the fact that I'm more than happy with the haircut I received, and would definitely use the Studio again.

• Brilliant Service

  I visited Elaine for the first time and was totally impressed throughout the morning I spent there. I had not set foot in a hairdressers for 20+ years and she immediately made me feel welcome and helped me with my choice of colour and style. I would most definitely recommend Elaines studio and will certainly be looking forward to my next visit. Keep up the good work and thank youfor making my morning memorable.

• Great service, very helpful

  This was my first visit to Elaine and I was really impressed with how accommodating she was with fitting me in at late notice and staying late to help me out with correcting a colour that had gone wrong. She spent a lot of time discussing what I wanted and cut it exactly as requested. Her prices are also very reasonable. Thanks Elaine for rescuing my hair, I will definitely return!

• Super impressed!

  Elaine is very friendly and welcoming, she fitted me in at very short notice and provided excellent customer service. The salon is neat and tidy, and the enviroment is very relaxed. I've always had issues getting my haircut as i have very difficult thick hair, not a lot of hairdressers know how to work with it. Elaine took her time and really impressed me with the cut and it still looks great a month after. I highly recommend a visit to Elaine's!
